![]() The level design is kind of decent if a bit abtuse even with the waypoint markers, since it feels like there could be potential alternate paths when all they do is lead you to dead ends. All though Bishock being the easy game that it is does make that game easier to see to the end than Prey 2017 with that said. All though mechanically it is not as dummed down as Bioshock is, which I'll give the game credit for since you can get a game over, and there is more custumization in how you can build your character instead of just being a boring shooter with terrible weapon feel and feedback. Where Dishonored was a sub par Thief, this game is a sub par System Shock particularly SS2. I never really liked Arkane's games outside of maybe Dark Messiah and even that is pushing it. This game gets labelled as an "immersive sim" when really this is just a sub par first person shooter and abysmal stealth game. I can see why I dropped it the first time. To this game's credit, the opening few minutes, the opening title music "everything is going to be okay" and the plot twist that you are being watched was well handled and it still was kind of surprising even playing it now when you grab the wrench and destroy the "stage" you are in and then I got furthur into the game and I slowly started to get more and more bored by it. ![]() I tried playing this when it came out and I dropped it after I got into the Talos 1.
